MCCHICKEN

mcdonaldsEverything develops and changes over the years, including your burger and fries quick stop. In the retail and restaurant industries, products constantly go through alterations to either adapt to changes in the tastes of the public, as a result of health or safety issues, or sometimes, simply to improve the product. The McChicken sandwich, originally introduced by McDonald's in 1980, has been replaced over the years as the company has learned to improve on the creation, presentation and flavoring of the McChicken.

In the United States, for example, the current McChicken sandwich recipe is not only somewhat spicier than the original, it is somewhat smaller than it was previously and has been shifted to the dollar menu while in Canada, the McChicken is still its original size. In certain McDonald's franchises throughout the world, the McChicken sandwich was adapted to appeal to the tastes of the local population. For example, in Hawaii, one McDonald's created the McTeriChicken sandwich which features teriyaki sauce. It is now heavily used in Hawaii and has been applied in various other McDonald's sandwiches. In some countries such as India, the McChicken is a chicken burger on a sesame seed bun and it does not have a spicy taste. Singapore is a country that has a McChicken with a spicy taste. The sandwich was for a time known as the "Cajun McChicken" sandwich, but the name was changed to just McChicken around 2000, at which time the spices may have been temporarily or permanently reduced. McDonald's restaurants in Tucson, Arizona, Denver, Colorado, Corpus Christi, and College Station, Texas sell the Hot & Spicy McChicken. It is almost always important for any McDonald's franchise to adapt to the tastes and demands of its local population because servicing customer demands is what drives sales. So far, the McChicken has more than succeeded in adapting to the needs of the populace and that is why it remains a perennial favorite on the menu.

BURGER FRIES

Burger! Fries! Burger! Fries! Those are the chants you hear when you are in the car with a group of hungry kids. Maybe you are coming home from a school outing or a sporting event. The kids are riled up, excited and have energy to spare. So where do you take them to satisfy their hunger for a burger and fries? Your local McDonald's franchise of course!

Keep in mind, this just is not any burger and fries! This is a mouthwatering Big Mac, Big N Tasty or Quarter Pounder that has been satisfying McDonald's customers for years and what separates them from the rest of the fast food places all over the world. And for those few who do not succumb to the juicy flavor and the irresistible call of the burger and fries, Chicken McNuggets with your choice of zesty sauce, the fish fillet sandwich with the tangy bite of tartar sauce, the McChicken sandwich and a variety of McDonald's salads are available to satiate your cravings. So the next time you hear the resounding chants of Burger! Fries!, keep in mind that you have so many choices. But, could anything beat the burger and fries? We think not!
